Build Your Own View of the Match
The aim is not to predict football perfectly. It is to build your own probabilities, compare them with the market and know when the available price gives you something worth trading.
Football markets are highly competitive and often efficiently priced. That makes blindly following form, statistics or popular strategies a difficult way to find a lasting edge.
Football Guru is built around a different idea: create your own view of the match first. By rating teams, estimating likely outcomes and converting those estimates into tissue prices, you can approach the market with a plan rather than simply reacting to what the odds are doing.
Why I Changed My Approach
My approach to football changed after spending time working in tennis markets, where thinking in terms of probability, price movement and possible match states became much more important than simply deciding who I thought would win.
I brought that same thinking back into football and began building ratings for European leagues, using them as the foundation for match projections and market pricing.
The result is a process that starts with your own numbers and then asks whether the market is offering a worthwhile price.
Create Your Own Tissue Prices
A team's average form only tells part of the story. What matters is how two teams compare with each other, the strength of the opposition they have faced and the way those differences should affect the probability of each match outcome.
By turning those comparisons into probabilities, you can produce your own prices for the major football markets before looking at the bookmaker or exchange odds.
Rate the Teams
Build a repeatable way of measuring relative team strength across different leagues.
Convert Ratings into Probabilities
Translate expected performance into usable market probabilities rather than relying on vague opinions.
Compare Against the Market
Identify where your tissue differs from the available price and decide whether that gap is large enough to act.
Price More Than Match Odds
Once you have a reliable match model, the same underlying probabilities can be used to explore a much wider range of football markets.
Match Odds
Build fair prices for home, draw and away outcomes and compare them directly with the exchange or bookmaker.
Goals Markets
Work through Overs / Unders, Both Teams to Score and Correct Score using the same projected match structure.
Handicap Markets
Extend the model into Draw No Bet and Asian Handicap pricing where small differences in team strength matter.
From Pre-Match Price to Trading Plan
The value of a model is not limited to pre-match betting. A strong starting price also gives you a reference point for deciding how you want to approach the match once it begins.
Know What You Expect
Start with an expected match shape rather than waiting for the market to tell you what to think.
Reassess In-Play
Compare what is actually happening with the original projection and decide whether the market has moved too far, not far enough or exactly as expected.
Avoid Strategy Without Context
Common trading strategies can fail when they are applied mechanically. The guide looks at why they fail and how model context can improve their use.
Build a Repeatable Process
Use the same framework from fixture analysis through pricing, market selection and post-match review.

Who Is Football Guru For?
Football Bettors
If you want to move beyond form tables and generic tips and start thinking in probabilities and prices.
Football Traders
If you want a stronger pre-match framework for deciding which in-play opportunities are worth considering.
Model Builders
If you want to understand how football ratings and market projections can be built into your own repeatable process.
Build the Model, Then Make Your Own Decisions
Football Guru is not a tip service and it does not promise that every projection will be correct. Football remains uncertain, and even a well-priced position can lose.
The purpose of the guide is to give you a structured framework for producing your own prices, understanding where they differ from the market and making more informed betting and trading decisions.
